New in AI Studio: Pixelcut Product Photo for Studio-Quality Product Shots

Prizmad added a Pixelcut-powered tool for e-commerce product photography — custom backgrounds, generative or drop shadows, precise margins, and logo placement, 1 token per image.

Prizmad's AI Studio picked up another tool this week: Pixelcut Product Photo. It takes a single product image and produces a studio-quality shot — clean background swap, realistic shadow, controlled margins, optional logo placement — the kind of image that would otherwise mean a lightbox, a tripod, and post-processing time.

For anyone running e-commerce ads, this closes a gap that sits right next to video generation: your talking-head or avatar ad handles the pitch, but the actual product still needs a hero image for the storefront listing, the static ad variant, or the thumbnail. This tool is built for exactly that image, not for video.

What you can control

The tool exposes the kind of settings a product photographer would actually adjust, not just a single "make it nice" button:

  • Output size — six presets from Square HD (1024×1024) down to Square (512×512), plus portrait and landscape ratios, or a fully custom canvas up to 14,142 px on a side.
  • Background — a solid hex color, a transparent background (PNG output), or a supplied background image with Cover, Contain, or Stretch fitting.
  • Margin — a single all-sides value (0–49% of the canvas or a pixel value) with optional per-side overrides, so the product doesn't float awkwardly close to or far from the frame edge.
  • Shadow — none, a generative shadow with adjustable opacity and an optional custom light-source position (size, X/Y/Z), or a classic drop shadow with its own color, offset, blur, and opacity controls.
  • Logo / watermark — an optional overlay image with its own background removal, five position anchors plus center, and independent scale, opacity, and margin.
  • Output format — PNG or JPEG, with the tool automatically forcing PNG whenever the background is set to transparent (you can't export a transparent JPEG, so it just handles that for you instead of erroring).

Uploads accept JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF up to 10 MB, and large source images are automatically optimized to fit within 2048 px before processing — you don't need to pre-resize.

What it costs

1 token per generated image, with processing typically taking 20–60 seconds depending on the settings chosen (generative shadows with a custom light source take a bit longer than a flat background swap). That's the lowest per-generation cost in Prizmad's AI Studio catalog — cheap enough to generate a few background/shadow variants of the same product shot and pick the one that actually matches your storefront's look.

Where this fits in an ad workflow

Product photography and video ad generation solve different problems that usually sit in different tools, which means switching context, exporting, and re-importing between them. Having product photo generation live in the same AI Studio as Prizmad's video ad pipeline means the same product image you fed into your talking-head ad can get a matching studio treatment for the Amazon listing, the static Meta ad variant, or the storefront hero — without leaving the workspace or paying for a separate subscription.

The tool is live now at prizmad.com/tools/pixelcut-product-photo. If you're testing it against your current product photography workflow, the 1-token cost and 20–60 second turnaround make it cheap to run the same product through a few background and shadow combinations before committing to one for a live listing or ad.
