Overview

FLUX Erase — AI Image Cleanup and Object Removal

FLUX Erase removes unwanted objects, text, and small imperfections from images using a mask — paint over what you want gone and the model fills the area cleanly. Prizmad ships it as a built-in tool: upload, mark the erase area, generate.

Background

What is FLUX Erase?

FLUX Erase is a mask-based image cleanup tool. You upload a source image, paint over the objects, text, or imperfections you want removed, and the model reconstructs that area so it blends with the rest of the picture. It is built for the everyday cleanup work behind ad creatives: stray objects in a product shot, distracting text in a lifestyle photo, small blemishes on a background.

Unlike manual clone-stamping or patching, you don't rebuild the area by hand. You circle or paint over the problem region directly in the Prizmad editor, the app converts your marks into the black-and-white mask the model needs, and FLUX Erase handles the fill. An advanced Mask Edge Expansion slider (0–100 pixels, default 10) lets you grow the mask edge if a removed object leaves a faint outline, and you can choose JPEG or PNG output.

On Prizmad, FLUX Erase uses the same token balance as AI image generation, , video, voiceover, captions, and music. Clean up a supplier photo, then send it straight into an image or video tool on the same account — no separate editing app, no extra billing.

Use cases

What you can clean up with FLUX Erase

Supplier photo cleanup

Remove price tags, packaging clutter, and background props from AliExpress or supplier images before using them in ads and listings.

Ad creative fixes

Erase distracting elements from a creative that is otherwise ready to ship — a stray hand, a reflection, an object photobombing the hero shot.

Outdated text removal

Strip old prices, expired promo copy, or leftover captions from creatives you own so you can reuse the visual for a new campaign.

Background tidying

Clean up small imperfections and blemishes in lifestyle and UGC-style photos so the product stays the focal point.

Capabilities

Key capabilities

Mask-based object removal

Paint over unwanted objects, text, or imperfections and FLUX Erase fills the masked area so it blends with the surrounding image.

Automatic mask creation

You mark the erase area with simple brush strokes or circles — Prizmad generates the matching black-and-white mask for the model automatically.

Product-shot cleanup

Remove props, cables, price stickers, and clutter from supplier photos and product shots before they go into an ad creative.

Text removal

Erase baked-in text from images you have rights to edit — old promo copy, outdated prices, or leftover captions.

Mask edge expansion

An advanced slider expands the mask edge by up to 100 pixels before cleanup, which helps when a removed object leaves a visible outline.

Flexible input and output

Accepts PNG, JPEG, WebP, and AVIF source images and outputs JPEG or PNG, ready for ad platforms and store listings.

Workflow

How to use FLUX Erase on Prizmad

1

Upload your source image in PNG, JPEG, WebP, or AVIF format — a product shot, lifestyle photo, or any image you want to clean up.

2

In the Erase Area step, circle or paint over the objects, text, or imperfections you want removed. Prizmad turns your marks into the mask the model uses.

3

Confirm you have the rights to edit the image. Do not remove watermarks, logos, or third-party markings unless you have permission.

4

Optionally open Advanced settings and adjust Mask Edge Expansion (default 10 px). Increase it if a first pass leaves a faint outline around the removed object.

5

Pick JPEG or PNG output, then click Generate. FLUX Erase typically returns the cleaned image in about 1–3 minutes.

6

Review the result in your asset library. If a trace remains, run it again with a slightly larger mask or higher edge expansion.

Pricing

How FLUX Erase fits Prizmad pricing

2 tokens per cleanup

Each FLUX Erase run costs 2 tokens. Tokens come from your token balance you've bought.

Available for tokens

FLUX Erase is unlocked on the same token balance you use for AI image generation, avatars, video, and captions — no separate editing account, no API key setup.

Run out? Top up, don't upgrade

If your tokens run dry mid-campaign, buy a one-off top-up directly from the top-up page. Cleaned images stay yours with full commercial rights.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is FLUX Erase free to use?

FLUX Erase is available to any account with enough tokens rather than offered as a standalone free tool. Each run costs 2 tokens from your token balance, and you can buy one-off token top-ups if you run out mid-campaign.

How much does FLUX Erase cost on Prizmad?

A flat 2 tokens per generation, regardless of image format. There is no per-image licensing fee and no separate billing — tokens come from the same balance you use for every other Prizmad tool.

Can I use the cleaned images commercially?

Yes. Images you process with FLUX Erase on Prizmad are yours to use commercially — in paid ads, product listings, and landing pages. The one condition is on the input side: only edit images you have the rights to edit.

Can I remove watermarks with FLUX Erase?

Only if you have permission. Prizmad asks you to confirm rights before each run: do not use FLUX Erase to remove watermarks, logos, or third-party markings from images you don't own or aren't licensed to modify.

How is FLUX Erase different from cloning tools in Photoshop?

With manual clone or patch tools you rebuild the erased area yourself, pixel by pixel. With FLUX Erase you just paint over the problem region and the model reconstructs the fill automatically. For most ad-creative cleanup jobs that turns a fiddly editing session into a single generation.

What do I do if the removed object leaves an outline?

Open Advanced settings and increase Mask Edge Expansion. It grows the mask edge by up to 100 pixels (default is 10) before cleanup, which usually eliminates leftover outlines. You can also re-run with a slightly larger painted mask.

What image formats does FLUX Erase accept and output?

You can upload PNG, JPEG, WebP, or AVIF source images. Output is JPEG by default, with PNG available in Advanced settings.

How long does a FLUX Erase generation take?

Typically around 1–3 minutes. The job runs asynchronously, so you can queue it and keep working — the cleaned image lands in your Prizmad asset library when it's done.
